Hotel association applauded the decision of two days leave
The provision of two-day leave will help to some extent in reviving the tourism sector.
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 29 – The Hotel Association of Pokhara Nepal has applauded the government’s decision to grant leave two days a week.
The Association’s Chairperson, Laxman Subedi, issued a press release today stating that the Council of Ministers’ decision to grant two days’ leave on Saturday and Sunday will benefit the tourism industry.
According to the release, it is expected that the arrangement of two days’ leave in the tourism sector, which has been plagued by various issues for a long time, will provide some relief to the industry. For a long time, the association has also demanded a two-day leave.
According to the association, the tourism sector has been the most affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, and the provision of two-day leave will help to some extent in reviving the tourism sector from COVID-19. The association further said that it believed the leave would help boost economic activity.
