CPN-S district chairperson Pokharel returned to UML

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 29 – Leader Shridhar Pokhrel has returned to CPN-UML.

He resigned from the CPN-Unified Socialist Makwanpur district Chairperson and returned to the UML.

Earlier, Pokhrel joined the Socialists after the UML split. On Thursday, UML Chairperson KP Oli welcomed him to the party at a program in Kathmandu.

He was also nominated for mayor of the Hetauda Sub-Metropolitian by the CPN-Unified Socialist. Suryachandra Neupane has been elected as the CPN-Makwanpur CPN-Unified Socialists chairperson following his resignation.
