KATHMANDU: APRIL. 29 – CPN-Maoist has entered the CPN-UML as a candidate for the post of the chairperson from the center.

Tenzing Chesang Tamang, a candidate for the post of the chairperson from the UCPN (Maoist) center in Gosainkunda Rural Municipality of Rasuwa, has joined UML.

He was also the rural municipality in-charge of the Maoists. He had registered his candidature from the Maoists for the local level election to be held on May 13.

According to Tamang, the UML has entered the party by withdrawing its candidature saying that it is a strong party.
