Candidate list publication today
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 28 – Today is the second and final day for the Election Commission to investigate nomination papers and complaints for the May 15 local elections. The commission’s timetable for investigating nomination papers and complaints was yesterday and today.
The commission had made an arrangement to file a complaint against the candidate on April 26. Complaints against those who had registered to run in the local elections were due to be filed by 5 p.m. on April 26. The commission plans to release the list of nominated candidates at 6 p.m. today.
Similarly, as per the schedule of the commission, the candidature can be withdrawn till 5 pm tomorrow (tomorrow). The commission will publish the final list tomorrow at 5 pm. The commission has a program to provide election symbols on April 29.
