Coalition’s decision to withdraw rebellious candidacy

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 27 – The ruling coalition is set to withdraw all candidates registered against the ruling coalition’s decision in the local elections.

The decision was made during a meeting of the coalition’s top leaders at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

The top leaders of the alliance decided to withdraw the candidature registered by the parties within the alliance against the distribution of seats in the metropolitian, sub-metropolitian, and municipality among the top leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, CPN-Unified Socialist, JSP, and Rastriya Janamorcha in a joint statement issued after the meeting.

Similarly, the coalition has directed that the rebellious candidature registered contrary to agreement be withdrawn by the lower committees.
