Solukhumbu: These are the UML candidates in all eight municipalities

SOLUKHUMBU: APRIL. 27 – The CPN (UML), Solukhumbu has selected candidates for the posts of Chief/Chairperson and Deputy Chief/Vice-Chairperson at all eight local levels. They have even registered their candidature.

In Soluduhkunda, the only municipality in Solukhumbu, UML has fielded Aang Kaji Sherpa as its mayoral candidate, while Duf Kumar Banstala has been fielded in Nechasalyan Rural Municipality.

Similarly, Bhakta Rai, who is also a journalist in Mahakulung Rural Municipality, has been unanimously nominated, while Buddhikiran Rai has been nominated in Mapya Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality. Mingmachiri Sherpa in Khumbu Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality, Post Kumar Karki in Likhupike Rural Municipality, Aang Babu Rai in Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality and Prakash Karki in Sotang Rural Municipality have been nominated as rural municipalities head candidates.

UML has fielded Mohan Kumari Karki as its deputy mayoral candidate for Solududhkunda. Sirjana Rai in Nechasalyan, Shubha Laxmi Kulung in Mahakulung, Junita Magar in Mapya Dudhkoshi, Tasilhamu Sherpa in Khumbu Pasanglhamu, Shusmamaya Sherpa in Likhupike, Kalpana Basnet in Thulung Dudhkoshi and Mansari Rai in Sotang rural municipalities  are the candidates for the post.
