POKHARA: APRIL. 26 – On Tuesday morning, UML candidate Krishna Thapa changed the photo on his Facebook wall after registering his candidacy for mayor of Pokhara on Monday.

The profile and cover photos are both new. On Facebook, a photo of him on his way to register his candidacy for the election was posted. Manju Gurung, the Deputy Mayoral candidate, has not posted anything on social media. She does not, however, spend much time on social media.

Dhanraj Acharya also updated his Facebook profile picture on Monday, before being nominated. Kopila Tiwari has a Facebook account, but she is not very active on it. Other party candidates have also changed their photos and asked for votes.

However, rather than changing their photo, the rebellious and other independent candidates have pushed for Pokhara’s prosperity agenda. This morning, Congress leader and mayoral rebellious candidate Nanda Tiwari posted agendas on Pokhara’s development and prosperity.

On Facebook, he proposed developing Pokhara as a tourist destination and preparing it for future generations.

“Tourism, health, social welfare, education, economic development, technological development are the driving forces that take us where we want to be,” he said. ‘ He has always been active in politics and after becoming the mayor, he has urged to get out of politics.

Ganesh Poudel, an independent candidate from the rebellious campaign, presents a plan for Pokhara’s development. He has stated that he will work with the people.
