Number of nominations surpassed 141,000, how many in which state? (with list)
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 26 – More than 141,400 candidates have been nominated at the local level. According to information updated by the Election Commission a short time ago, 141,468 candidates have registered for all posts across the country.
According to the commission, political parties and independent candidates have registered their nominations in a positive manner. The main election rivalry is between the ruling coalition’s five parties and the main opposition UML.
The list of candidates will be published today in accordance with the local level election program, which will take place on May 13.
It has been decided to check the nomination papers on April 27 and 28 and to decide on the complaints after investigation and to publish the list of the candidates nominated on April 28.
