KATHMANDU: APRIL. 26 – The Election Commission (EC) has decided to begin transporting ballot papers for the May 13 local body elections today.

The commission has already stated that ballot papers will be transported via vehicles such as helicopters, containers, and trucks.

According to Commission spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel, 80 percent of the ballot papers have been printed, and the remaining ballot papers are being printed.

According to him, the printing of 1 crore 54 lakh 83 thousand ballot papers for 68 districts has been completed so far. The commission has estimated that 19.4 million ballot papers will be required.
