9 lakh 8,000 voters & 8,900 candidates in Karnali
SURKHET: APRIL. 26 -Nominations were registered on Sunday and Monday, according to the Election Commission’s schedule. According to the commission’s information, 8,984 people have registered their candidacies in Karnali.
According to the commission, 159 candidates have so far registered for the post of chief, 268 for the post of chairperson, 139 for the post of deputy chief and 234 for the post of vice-chairperson in Karnali.
According to the commission, 2,253 candidates have filed nominations for the post of ward chairperson, 1,515 for women members, 1,277 for Dalit women members, and 3,140 for members.
Karnali has a total of nine lakh eight thousand four hundred and thirty-three voters. There are four lakh 49 thousand thirty female voters, four lakh 59 thousand four hundred and one male voters, and two other voters out of which four lakh 49 thousand thirty female voters, four lakh 59 thousand four hundred and one male voters, and two other voters.
