220 field their candidacy in Kathmandu Metropolitian

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 26 – There are 220 candidates in Kathmandu Metropolitan City for the upcoming local level election. There are 220 candidates for various posts from independent political parties.

According to the Office of the Chief Election Commission, some figures may change as details are revised and updated. There are 32 wards in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

The Election Commission had set aside time on Sunday and Monday for candidates to register for the May 13 local elections.
