Khadka candidate for mayor of Birendranagar from Congress

SURKHET: APRIL. 25 – Upendra Khadka been chosen as the candidate for mayor of Surkhet Birendranagar from the Nepali Congress.

A meeting of the party held on Monday nominated Upendra Khadka for the post of mayor.

Congress had recommended seven names for mayor. In the end, Khadka’s name is the party’s candidate for mayor. Similarly, the name of Deputy Mayor Ram Kumari Thapa has been finalized.

Currently, Mayor Khadka and Deputy Mayor Thapa have gone to the Chief Election Office to register their candidacies.
