Mayor of Birendranagar Dhakal registered nomination from UML

SURKHET: APRIL. 25 – CPN-UML has nominated Mohan Maya Dhakal for the post of mayor of Birendranagar and Nilkantha Khanal for the post of deputy mayor.

On Monday, they went to the office of Birendranagar’s Chief Election Officer and declared their candidacy.

They reached at the Chief Election Officer’s office, accompanied by folk instruments from the UML party office, and registered their nominations.

CPN-UML Standing Committee member and Karnali State in-charge Yamlal Kandel also visited the office of the Chief Electoral Officer to register the candidatures of Dhakal and Khanal.

Dhakal is also a central member of the CPN-UML and co-incharge of Surkhet.

Similarly, Deputy Mayor Khanal is a former Birendranagar Municipality-4 ward chairperson, and the CPN-UML is also the chairperson of the Birendranagar Municipal Committee.
