Chand & Rana registered their candiature from UML as mayor & deputy mayor

DHANGADHI: APRIL. 25 – Ran Bahadur Chand and Kandakala Rana Tharu have registered their candidacies from UML for the post of mayor and deputy mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitian respectively.

Chand and Rana Tharu have registered their candidacies from the UML party office.

Chand is a member of the UML Central Election Department and a former vice-chairperson of the Kailali District Committee, while UML Kailali leader Rana Tharu.

Similarly, Gopal Hamal of Swatantra and Basanta Bahadur Bishwakarma of LOSAPA filed their candidacies for mayor on Sunday.

Other political parties are also preparing to file their candidacies. The Election Commission has set a 5 p.m. deadline for candidate registration.
