UML completes candidate selection process in Tanahun

POKHARA: APRIL. 25 – CPN-UML has finalized the candidates in all the municipalities of Tanahun.

The UML, which has joined hands with the former Joint General Minister of the Nepali Congress, Govinda Raj Joshi’s group, has decided on its candidates in some of the municipality Joshi groups.

In Devghat, Durga Bahadur Thapa got the ticket of chairperson and Sabitri Neupane got the ticket of vice-chairperson. Rishi KC in Anbu Khaireni Rural Municipality chairperson, Surendra Thapa as chairperson in Bandipur, Sitaram Bajagain as Mayor in Bhanu, Basundhara Gharti as Deputy Mayor in Byas, Shriprasad Shrestha as chairperson in Myagde and Ratna Ghimire as vice-chairperson got tickets.

Similarly, Mukti Timilsina and Phulmaya Wagle have been chosen as the mayor and deputy mayor of Shuklagandaki, Dadhikar Subedi as the mayor of Bhimad and Sharada Khanal as the deputy mayor, Hari Raj Kandel as the chairperson of Rishing and Hom Bahadur Thapa as the chairperson of Ghiring and Radha Adhikari as the vice-chairperson.

Apart from these, the Joshi group will select candidates for mayor in Byas, Anbu Khaireni, Bandipur and Bhanu for deputy chief.
