Deputy mayor of Pokhara Bijukche from alliance

POKHARA: APRIL. 25 – Surendraman Bijukche is set to become the deputy mayor of Pokhara as the common candidate of the ruling alliance partners.

Bijukchhe, who is also the president of NC Pokhara, has been appointed as deputy mayor by the party. The UCPN (Maoist) has already decided to field the mayor of Pokhara and the deputy mayor. Similarly, Dhanraj Acharya has been given the ticket of the candidate for mayor.

The alliance’s nomination program is expected to begin soon in Pokhara.
