Gandaki MP Thapa resigns

POKHARA: APRIL. 25 – Krishna Bahadur Thapa, the CPN-UML candidate for mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan, has resigned.

Thapa handed over his resignation letter to Speaker Netranath Adhikari. Similarly, Manju Devi Gurung has been appointed as Pokhara’s next deputy mayor.

Although Deepak Poudel was given the mayor’s ticket last Saturday, the party snatched it away from him and gave it to Thapa.
