Congress registering Sirjana Singh’s candidature for Kathmandu mayor at 1 o’clock

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 25 – Sirjana Singh has been nominated by the Nepali Congress to be the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Sirjana Singh, the wife of Congress leader Prakash Man Singh, will file her candidacy on Monday at 1 p.m. The party’s metropolitan committee has announced that, in addition to Singh’s candidacy for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan, all other ward representatives will be nominated today.

Preparations are underway, according to Congress leader Singh’s personal secretary UP Lamichhane, to register Singh’s candidacy alongside the rally this afternoon.
