Nagesh Koirala got ticket from Congress for post of mayor of Biratnagar

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 25 – The Nepali Congress has chosen Nagesh Koirala as its candidate for Mayor of Biratnagar Metropolitan City. Nagesh is thought to be close to Dr. Shekhar Koirala. He is the Vice President of Congress Morang.

In the Kathmandu Metropolitan, Congress has given a ticket to General Convention Representative Sirjana Singh. No decision has yet been made in Lalitpur Metropolitan.

In Lalitpur, they are preparing to give tickets to Chiribabu Maharjan.

The meeting of the Central Working Committee on Sunday had given the right to decide on the mayor and deputy mayor of the metropolitan to the president Sher Bahadur Deuba.
