UML finalizes candidate in Kaski
POKHARA: APRIL. 25 – CPN-UML has finalized the candidates for all the municipalities in Kaski. Krishna Bahadur Thapa and Manju Devi Gurung have been nominated for the post of mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan.
Earlier, Deepak Poudel got the mayor’s ticket, but after he got into a dispute, the ticket was snatched and given to Thapa. Nawaraj Ojha and Lal Subba Gurung got tickets for the post of chairperson and vice-chairperson of Rupa Rural Municipality, while Shiva Bahadur Gurung (Mahendra) and Kalpana Gurung have been nominated for the post of chairperson and vice-chairperson of Madi.
Bikram Gurung and Sita Tiwari got tickets for the post of chairperson and vice-chairperson respectively. Bishnu KC, who had earlier lost the election, has been nominated as the chairperson of Annapurna. Chandra Adhikari got the ticket for the post of vice-chairperson.
