UML finalize candidates in all municipalities of Lamjung
POKHARA: APRIL. 25 – The CPN-UML has finalized the candidates in all Lamjung municipalities. The state committee decided to re-elect Guman Singh Aryal as mayor of Besisahar Municipality, and Padya Gurung was given a ticket for the post of deputy mayor.
Rajkumar Shrestha will be the mayor of Central Nepal, and Sita Gurung will be the deputy mayor. Bhim Bahadur Gurung and Bhawani KC have got tickets for the post of mayor and deputy mayor of Sundarbazar, while Singh Bahadur Thapa and Sobha Panthi have been given the post of mayor and deputy mayor of Rainas Municipality respectively.
Similarly, Yuvaraj Adhikari and Usha Gurung got tickets for the post of chairperson and vice-chairperson respectively in Dordi Rural Municipality. Arjun Gurung has been re-choosen as the chairperson of Marsyangdi Rural Municipality. Juna Thapa has been chosen as the vice-chairperson In Khonlasothar, Surya Gurung has got a ticket for chairperson and Gami Gurung has got a ticket for vice-chairperson.
Tej Bahadur Gurung got the ticket for the post of chairperson of the Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality, and Krishnamaya Gurung got the ticket for the post of vice-chairperson. There are no female mayors in any of the municipalities.
