KATHMANDU: APRIL. 25 – The candidates for the metropolitan and sub-metropolitan constituencies have been finalized by the CPN Unified Socialist. The party has chosen a candidate for one metropolitan and five sub-metropolitan seats in the ruling coalition.

The CPN Unified Socialist received the mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City and the deputy mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, as well as the mayors of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan, Itahari, Butwal, and Tulsipur.

The Socialist Party has fielded a candidate for the same seat.
