Rs 60 million worth of properties burnt down in Bhaktapur godown fire

BHAKTAPUR: APRIL. 25 – On Sunday night, a fire broke out at a godown housing chemical and machinery equipment in Kamerotar of Madyapurthimi Municipality-5 in Bhaktapur district, destroying approximately Rs 60 million in property, according to police.

Rajan Prajapati, a local, owned the warehouse. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hari Nandan Chaudhary, the blaze was extinguished this morning with the support of a fire engine, Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police.

Details on actual losses will be available until today at noon, he said.
