Biplab Maoists’ candidature in Pokhara

POKHARA: APRIL. 25 – The CPN (Maoist) led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) has also fielded a candidate in Pokhara. Candidates have been fielded for the post of mayor and deputy mayor of the metropolitan. They have given their candidature from independents not from parties.

Kisan Singh Gurung of the CPN (Maoist) and Somaya Bishwakarma of the CPN (Maoist) have both filed for mayor and deputy mayor, respectively. Despite the fact that Biplav’s party has a large number of people boycotting the election, they have declared their candidacy in Pokhara.

They had gone to the Chief Electoral Officer’s office to protest the MCC.
