13 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 24 – The Ministry of Health and Population reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 in the country in the last 24 hours.

Eleven confirmed cases were detected using the RT-PCR method, and two using the Antigen method.

In the last 24 hours, 4,255 swab samples were tested. 3,144 samples were tested using RT-PCR, while 1,111 were tested using the Antigen method.

There were no COVID-related fatalities reported during this time period. To date, the country’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 11,951.

As of today, there are 269 active COVID-19 cases in the country, with 25 infected patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
