Outgoing ward chairperson, 81, announced his candidacy in Lalitpur

LALITPUR: APRIL. 24 – RPP has registered its candidacy for the posts of chief and deputy chief of Lalitpur Municipal Corporation for the local level election, while Narasimha Byanjankar, 81, has registered his candidacy for the post of ward no. 10 chairperson.

On Sunday, Narasimha Byanjankar filed his candidacy for the position of ward 10 chairperson. Prior to this, he was the ward chairperson of the same ward.

He has been running for the post of ward chairperson as an independent candidate since 2029 BS. RPP has also stated that it will support the confectioner in that ward. Similarly, on Sunday, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party registered its candidacy for the posts of Lalitpur chief and deputy chief in Lalitpur.

Asta Bahadur Maharjan and Swarnima Shakya have both filed for the position of chief and deputy chief, respectively  Nomination registration will continue till Monday.
