KATHMANDU: APRIL. 24 – Keshav Sthapit, who is going to be the UML candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has resigned from the state assembly.
On Sunday, he resigned from the State Assembly, which he handed over to Speaker Sanukumar Shrestha.
Sthapit has resigned with effect from today, according to the state assembly secretariat. Bijay Subedi, the mayor of Bharatpur, had previously resigned from the state assembly.
