SCT unveils new logo, announces service improvements
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 22 – SCT, Smart Choice Technologies, a card and payment platform provider in Nepal, has unveiled a new logo announcing service improvements.
The company has provided various types of cards and payment platforms to Class A commercial banks, development banks, and financial institutions.
SCT is also the first company in Nepal to introduce the new ‘Integrated Shared Switching Payment Network’ and ‘Domestic Proprietary Card’ schemes. SCT has further expanded its dimensions and integrated a variety of services under the same company; It offers a wide range of payment services ranging from the dual interface (with and without contact) to debit and prepaid cards (domestic and international), ATM and POS interconnection, interfaces between BFIs, international plans gateway, QR code payment platform and through it the complete solution of financial technology. Smart Choice Technology Limited, also known as SCT and SCT-Network, was founded in 2001 and is a licensed Payment Services Operator (PSO) under Nepal Rastriya Bank. Most commercial banks, development banks, PSPs (payment service providers), and other financial institutions in Nepal rely on SCT for various cards and payment platforms.
SCT has also formed strategic alliances with international payment processors and schemes (such as UnionPay International, Pulse Network, and FSS, among others) in order to expand its services and access.
