KATHMANDU: APRIL. 22 – The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has been conducted in physical attendance from today after two years. According to the National Examination Board, the examination started at 8 am.

For two years in a row, the National Examination Board (NEB) has issued grade sheets based on internal school assessments due to a lack of physical SEE examinations due to COVID-19.

514,977 candidates from all over the country are participating in this year’s SEE. In SEE, male students outnumber female students. There are 257,927 male and 257,053 female students.

According to Controller of Examinations Rayamajhi, the country has 2,007 examination centers. SEE is estimated to be completed on May 3. The basis of the assessment has also changed this year. A minimum of 35 marks will be required for assessment in the student’s grading.

Earlier, those who scored 30 marks would have a grade D+ and would have the opportunity to study in most subjects in the upper class. However, grading of less than 35 marks will be prohibited beginning this year. According to the new law, 35 marks equals a D grade.
