UML announcing local election manifesto from new party office
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 22 – Today, the CPN-UML will make public the manifesto for the May 13 local body election. Chairperson KP Sharma Oli will unveil the party’s manifesto on the occasion of the party’s 74th founding day, according to UML Central Publicity Department Deputy Chief Bishnu Rijal.
The manifesto will be unveiled at 1 p.m. at the Tulsilal Memorial Building in Chyasal, he says. Meanwhile, the UML intends to relocate its head office to Thapathali today. According to Rijal, the party’s head office will be relocated to the Tulsilal Memorial Building in Chyasal.
The UML has stated that due to the narrowness of Thapathali, the party’s central office is being relocated. Despite having a Thapathali office, the majority of the party’s meetings were held at the Tulsilal Memorial Building due to a lack of meeting room and parking.
