Election office in every municipality of Kaski
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 21 – Election offices will be operational in all the five municipalities of the Kaski district from today for the local level election to be held on May 13.
According to Rudra Neupane, Information Officer at the State Election Office in Pokhara, election offices will opened today in Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Rupa, and Madi Rural Municipalities.
The Chief Electoral Officer of Pokhara Metropolitan City is Shrikrishna Bhattarai, while Bishnu Prasad Acharya is in Annapurna, Durga Prasad Bhattarai is in Madi, Nawaraj Dangal is in Machhapuchhre and Rudra Prasad Subedi is in Rupa.
Information Officer Neupane stated that preparations for the election have been stepped up, and that work on material and manpower management is underway. As the deadline for nominating candidates for the election approaches, the parties have stepped up their efforts to finalize the candidates.
