One killed, six injured in oxygen plant blast

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 21 – An explosion at an oxygen plant in Lalitpur’s industrial area killed one person and injured six others. The explosion occurred at the Sagarmatha Oxygen Plant around 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Six injured people have been rescued and rushed to the hospital, according to Deepak Bharati, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Lalitpur. ‘One person has died in an explosion while filling oxygen.’

Police are working to identify the deceased. The incident’s specifics have yet to be released.
