Distribution ends in Bajhang: NC gets seven out of 12 municipalities
BAJHANG: APRIL. 21 – The distribution of municipalities in Bajhang has been finalized by the ruling coalition party. The municipality was divided after a meeting of the alliance’s three parties on Wednesday.
The meeting has decided to share seven of the 12 local levels of the district with the Nepali Congress, three with the CPN (Unified Socialist) and two with the local level CPN-Maoist.
The Nepali Congress has five rural municipalities, including two municipalities. Among them are Jayaprithvi Municipality, Bungal Municipality, Saipal Rural Municipality, Masta Rural Municipality, Khaptadchhanna Rural Municipality, Bitthadchir Rural Municipality and Surma Rural Municipality.
Similarly, the Unified Socialists have got Talkot, Kedar-Syun and Thalara Rural Municipalities. The Maoist center has got Durgathali and Chhabis Pathibhera Rural Municipalities.
Similarly, the Nepali Congress got six seats, the Socialists got two seats and the Maoist Center got four seats.
