Coalition decides to field candidacy of Srijana Singh as KMC mayor

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 20 – On behalf of the coalition, Nepali Congress leader Sirjana Singh has been recommended as the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).

The metropolitan working committee has agreed to nominate Singh without recommending the names of the aspirants to the Center.

The Central Parliamentary Committee chooses candidates from the Metropolitian Working Committee’s list of recommendations.

Singh, who has been out of politics for a long time, is said to be interested in becoming mayor.
