From branding of Nepali liquor to building library in every municipality

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 19 – Unified socialist has made public its manifesto for the local elections. Chairperson of the party Madhav Kumar Nepal unveiled the manifesto during a program organized at the National Assembly on Tuesday.

The slogan of the manifesto is ‘People-oriented local government is the basis of development and prosperity.

The party’s manifesto ranges everything from providing up to 200 units of free electricity to branding Nepali liquor.

Similarly, plans to make drinking water free and to prioritize health in the local government’s budget have been included.
