More than 3.3 million voters, 2,163 polling stations in Madhesh State
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 19 – The number of voters in the local level election in Madhesh State has remained at 33.31 million 170.
The Janakpurdham State Election Office reports 17.97 million 945 male voters, 15.33 million 158 female voters, and a total of 33.31 million 170 voters, including 66 others.
According to Shridhar Panta of the State Election Office, the Election Commission of Nepal will include a list of voters who have reached the age of 18 by Baisakh 29, 2079 BS (12 May, 2022)
According to the Election Office, in Dhanusha, there are 2.48 million 840 males, 2.18 million 542 females and 6 others. There are 577 voters in Sarlahi and 2.57 million 138 men, 2.17 million 292 women and 9 others including a total of 4.74 million 439 voters.
Similarly in Saptari 2.13 million 892 males, 1.98 million 532 females and other 21 total 4.12 million 445 and in Siraha 2.19 million 564 males, 1.94 million 600 females and other 2 total 4.14 million 166 has been maintained.
In Rautahat, 2.22 million 945 males, 1.85 million 46 females, including one 4.7 million 992 others, in Bara 2.31 million 826 males, 1.91 million 490 females and 11 others including 4.23 million 327 and a total of 339,836 voters, including 1,91,537 men, 1,48,283 women and 16 others, will be able to cast their votes in Parsa, said Panta of the State Election Office.
He stated that 2,163 polling stations have been set up across the state, with 4,189 polling booths reserved for the local level election.
Saptari has 297 polling stations, 536 polling stations, Siraha has 221 polling stations, 498 polling stations, Dhanusha has 323 polling stations, 593 polling stations, Mahottari has 258 polling stations, 497 polling stations, Sarlahi has 318 polling stations, 599 polling stations, and Rautahat has 276 polling stations. Polling Stations in Barama, 303 Polling Stations in Bara, Parsa has 541 polling stations, 167 polling stations, and 404 polling booths.
The Election Officer’s office will open at the local level on April 21.
