Coalition will not break under any circumstances: PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 19 – Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also Prime Minister, has stated that the ruling five-party alliance will not be broken up.

Addressing a program organized by the Nepali Union from Kathmandu on Tuesday, Prime Minister Deuba said, “There is a conspiracy to break the alliance.” What happens if the alliance breaks down? According to the constitution, no one can obtain a majority unless such a situation exists. That is why we need to form an alliance with someone.’

Prime Minister Deuba claimed that a conspiracy was being hatched to break up the alliance and that the Nepali Congress was defending it.
