Three injured in Biratnagar blaze

BIRATNAGAR: APRIL. 19 – Three persons have been injured in a blaze in Biratnagar. Last night, a massive fire broke out at Biratnagar Metropolitan City-9 Hospital Chowk. According to police, three firefighters were injured in the fire.

A blaze broke out in Kumar Prasad Ghimire’s house at 12 midnight. Bhim Bahadur Bista, Biratnagar Metropolitan City Firemen Ashesh Dahal and Prem Kumar Rajbanshi have been identified as the injured.

According to police, they were injured when a gas cylinder exploded while they were putting out the fire. Biratnagar Metropolitan City Municipal Police Inspector Rajan Poudel informed that the injured had been burned.

The fire was brought under control at 2 a.m. by Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force, Municipal Police, and locals.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Biratnagar Hospital.
