Congress set up ‘State Desk’, appointed convener (with list)
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 19 – The Nepali Congress has set up a local election-focused state desk. According to the decision of the meeting of the Central Mobilization Committee for Local Level Election convened by Vice President Punar Bahadur Khadka, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has set up a state desk.
General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma will coordinate with all seven state decks on behalf of the central office. A ‘State Desk’ has been set up at the party’s headquarters to make the party’s victory campaign in local elections more systematic and effective.
Among them are Joint General Minister Jeevan Pariyar in State 1, Joint General Minister Bhishmaraj Angdembe in Madhesh State, Joint General Minister Farmullah Mansur in Bagmati State, Joint General Minister Mahalaxmi Upadhyay in Gandaki State, Joint General Minister Mahendra Yadav in Lumbini State, Joint General Minister Badri Pandey in Karnali State.
