Sports festival started in Nobel

BIRATNAGAR: APRIL. 18 – The Nobel Sports Festival has begun at the Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar.

MBBS 13th Batch, BDS 8th Batch and BSc Nursing 8th Batch have jointly started Sports Fiesta.

Football, volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, badminton, table tennis, tug-of-war, chess, ludo carrom, and marathon games will be featured during the seven-day festival. Online games such as PUBG, FIFA, and Mini Militia will also be available.

Cricket and futsal will be played on the women’s side, according to the organizers. Dr. Uday Chandra Chaudhary, Head of the Department of Orthopedics, has contributed Rs 5,000 in cash to the sports festival.

College Principal Dr. Ram Hari Ghimire inaugurated the sports festival. Principal Dr. Ghimire, Director of Nursing Nilam Jha, International Director of Education Dr. Niranjan Kumar and Dr. Dipendra Naulakha said that sports would play an important role for a healthy life and wished success to the sports festival.

Nobel students hold a sports fiesta every year. Nobel has about 1,600 students studying in DM/MCH, MD, MS, MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BNS, BPT, LAB Technician, Radiography, Dental Hygiene and Deform faculty.
