Ward member Satyal passes away

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 18 – Niraj Raj Satyal, a Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30 ward member, died on Sunday night.

Satyal, who was elected as a ward member of KMC-30 in a local-level election in 2074 BS, had been suffering from cancer for a long time.

He began his political career with the Nepal Student Union, the Nepali Congress’ sister organization. He was also a former Tri Chandra College FSU member.

His final rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Sunday night itself.
