KATHMANDU: APRIL. 18 – The claims of the ruling coalition’s affiliated parties, which have decided to coordinate in the local elections, have forced the top leadership in the distribution of the metropolis.

The ruling coalition of five parties, which had previously decided to keep the seats at the local level and distribute them based on the votes won by the UML, has been able to share.

Despite the completion of the seven bases for candidate selection and the four processes for seat distribution, there are complexities between the five parties in many places from the district to the center.

Although the coalition had previously agreed to end the metropolitan and sub-metropolitan chief-deputy chief central mechanism,’ the parties were unable to reach an agreement on Sunday due to competing demands. The coalition meeting was called off today as they couldn’t agree on each other’s demands.

The top leaders of the coalition Congress, Maoist Center, CPN-S, JSP, and the ruling coalition affiliated Rastriya Janamorcha had agreed in principle to share the seats won by the allied parties and the seats won by the UML.

As a result, the Lalitpur and Biratnagar Congress, the Bharatpur Maoist Center, and the Birgunj JSP will each receive a share of the six metropolis.

Kathmandu and Pokhara, which were won by UML, will be divided. After the coalition party’s election preparation and monitoring committee meeting, convened by Ram Chandra Poudel, failed to reach an agreement, preparations are underway to finalize it through top leaders.
