Unified Socialists warned to leave alliance
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 18 – Unified Socialists have warned to leave the alliance. This was stated by party general secretary Dr Beduram Bhusal while attending a meeting of the local level election preparation and monitoring committee of the alliance on Sunday afternoon.
The Unified Socialists have claimed that they should be given control of one of every six major cities. In yesterday’s meeting, Secretary-General Bhusal stated that further discussions could not take place without the leadership of a metropolis.
To finalize the distribution, the coalition has tasked a task force led by senior Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel. Following this, the meeting held yesterday came to an end with no conclusion.
Why did you warn to leave the alliance? To the question, a leader of the Unified Socialists said, “We have said this while trying to move forward by pushing the balance of power.”
