KATHMANDU: APRIL. 16 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 9 more people in Nepal on Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases today, six were detected through the RT-PCR method and three through the Antigen method.

In the previous 24 hours, a total of 4,043 swap samples were tested. 1986 of them were tested using RT-PCR, while 2057 were tested using the Antigen method.

The government claims there have been no COVID-19-related deaths, while another 44 infected recovered. To date, 11,951 people have died as a result of COVID-19.

At present, there are 400 active infected people in Nepal, according to the ministry.
