Electoral collaboration issue be finalized by Sunday: Chair Dahal

CHITWAN: APRIL. 16 – Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), has stated that the issue of electoral collaboration among the ruling coalition parties will be resolved by Sunday.

Speaking to reporters at Bharatpur Airport this morning, Chair Dahal stated that a draft would be prepared until this evening and that a conclusion would most likely be reached tomorrow.

During the election, he believes that disputes and debates occur even within the same party and that it is natural for parties to take time to reach an agreement.

In response to a question, the CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair stated that a discussion about the Bharatpur Metropolitan City was underway.

He further said that positive discussion was underway in the alliance regarding the candidacy for local-level election.
