Congress to deploy central representatives in all districts for local elections

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 15 – To prepare for local elections, the Nepali Congress has decided to deploy the party’s central representatives in all districts across the country.

On Friday, the Congress Local Level Election Mobilization Central Committee met at the party headquarters in Sanepa and decided to deploy central representatives to all 77 districts to mobilize all fraternal organizations and well-wishers.

The committee has decided to recommend all of the names from the states between the 16th and 18th of April and to discuss the names that are causing problems in the alliance later.

According to Congress central member Nain Singh Mahar, the meeting also formed the criteria for organizing the election meeting and adhering to the code of conduct.

He stated that the meeting decided to form sub-committees for fraternal organization coordination and mobilization, well-wisher coordination and mobilization, and district liaison committee coordination and mobilization.

At the meeting, committee coordinator Purna Bahadur Khadka said that the alliance should be made more effective as it would save the existence of all.
