Government decides to accept US 80 billion grant

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 15 – The government has decided to accept roughly $80 billion in grant aid from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

The government has accepted Rs 79.71 billion in grants from the US government for various development programs.

Minister for Information and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki announced the decision of the cabinet meeting on April 13, 2022, that it has been decided to accept the grant assistance of 659 million dollars.

The government has also decided to accept Rs 18 billion in World Bank assistance via the International Development Association.
