Jail tussle leaves 6 inmates injured

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 14 – Six inmates were injured in a tussle at Jhumka Prison in Sunsari district’s Ramdhuni Municipality.

Following the transfer of 12 inmates on Wednesday, there was a disagreement among the other inmates regarding the appointment of a prison guard. Six people were injured, according to Jailer Pradip Shah, who informed Makalu Khabar.

Jailer Shah also stated that 25 inmates were kept out of the jail to keep the situation under control. The injured are being treated at Dharan’s BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
