Devotees throng Pashupatinath for prayers since early this morning

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 14 – A special arrangement has been made at the Pashupatinath Temple for devotees turning up here for prayers on the occasion of New Year, 2079 BS.

The special arrangement has been made in view of a big crowd of worshippers at Pashupatinath Temple on the New Year’s day.

Pashupati Area Development Trust’s Culture Conservation Division Chief Gaurishanker Parajuli told RSS that all four doors of Pashupatinath Temple have been kept open since early 4.00 am on the occasion of New Year.

He shared that the inflow of worshippers has increased at the temple area since early this morning. An arrangement has been made for the worshippers to offer prayers and pooja from the northern, western and southern main gates of the temple today.

Parajuli further shared that security arrangement has been made in coordination with the Metropolitan Police Circle Gaushala. The arrangement has also been made for those who want to offer special pooja on the occasion, he added.
