19 new infected in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 13 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 19 more people in Nepal. The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 1,118,788 as of Wednesday afternoon.

In this period, 3,349 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which returned 15 returned positive. Likewise, 1,366 underwent antigen tests for the COVID-19, of which four tested positive.

The government claims there have been no COVID-19-related deaths, while another 49 infected recovered.

Of the total cases so far, 966,160 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 11,951 died, according to the ministry.

At present, there are 520 active infected people in isolation in Nepal.
